DESIGN
Some of our luxury kitchen islands employ different heights and different materials to define three zones – for cooking, preparation and eating. Others include a robust work surface for food preparation, often a sink and a hob for cooking, while some afford the opportunity to make a statement with a fabulous piece of natural stone such as marble or quartz. Take a look at some of the best example of our kitchen islands.
Our bespoke kitchen islands are an integral part of the social furniture in your house. The island creates a hub for family to gather, friends to socialise and a place for informal dining. A bespoke kitchen island should perform three functions; practical, aesthetically pleasing, and allow for as much seating as possible.
MATERIALS
Islands are normally in the same finish as the rest of your custom kitchen, this ensures a continuity of design, but ultimately you can have whatever you want. We have designed many islands with a range of styles and finishes, you can have curved ends, or different heights to clearly define your zones. Worktop materials include: marble; composite stone; stainless steel; solid wood and natural stone. Gather some ideas from our previous projects in our portfolio page.
