Originally, the home was divided into smaller rooms. But removing a wall in the redesign has created a more spacious, palatial feel. 

With more breathing space and enhanced accessibility, the kitchen became the high traffic, go-to destination for gatherings. 

Blending kitchen styles

Bold contrasts in the colour palette are first to catch your eye when you enter the kitchen. The luxurious ambience is thanks to the classic combination of black, white and gold. 

The flooring, in marble, is both stylish and practical. Beautiful to look at, it’s also incredibly durable and easy to clean. Perfect if you’re one to make a mess in the kitchen. 

A strong influence in this redesign, especially in the cabinetry, is traditional American Hamptons style. The team at Wood, Marble & White took it up a notch, paying homage to art deco in the gold inlay surrounding the benchtop island and the display unit profile.

While two different eras are at play in this renovation, they play together seamlessly. Every design element has its moment to shine. It’s truly a magnificent space in which the balance for every detail is perfectly weighted.
